Donald Everett Wright, 86, of Denton passed away on August 9, 2017 in Denton, Texas. He was born to Adrian and Madaline Wright in Van Alstyne, Texas on March 15, 1931.

He married Rosemary Wright Nov,.26th 1964. Donald proudly served in the Military for the Air Force. He was a Morse Code operator during the Korean War. In 1968 He, Rosemary, and their two boys Frank, Steve and their daughter Susan moved to Denton where he continued his banking career until his retirement. Donald loved to go camping. He especially loved going to Surf Side/Galveston Island. He was a proud Grandpa who enjoyed  watching his Grandson and Great grandson play baseball. Donald was an incredible man who impacted so many people lives in such  positive ways. There's nothing he wouldn't do for his Family or friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Wright of Denton, daughter in law, Sherlene Wright of Denton, step-daughter, Georgette Henderson of Denton, Son, Stephen Wright, grandchild Nathan Stanley and great-grandchild Braden Stanley.

He is preceded in death by his wife, son, Frank Wright, mother and father, sister, Dorothy Wright, brothers, Tom, Bob and Jim Wright.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6-8 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Services will be on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Denton, interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
