IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donna Frances
Randolph
July 1, 1951 – August 12, 2023
Donna Frances Randolph, 72, of Denton, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Denton. She was born in Denton, Texas on July 1, 1951, to Donnie and Patsy (Sullivan) Carter. She married Timothy Randolph in Denton, Texas on June 2, 2006.
Donna graduated from Denton High School in 1969 and began classes at North Texas State University. She eventually started working at Moore Business Forms until they closed and eventually went back to the University of North Texas where she worked until she retired in 2011. She was a member and volunteer of the North Texas State Fair Association and the BPOE Denton #2446. During her time as a member of the Denton Elks, she held several committee chair and officer positions, but found the most enjoyment in volunteering during the various Veterans events held throughout the year. She relished the time she spent with her family, friends and especially her four grandsons. She always went over the top decorating for all the holidays and often Tim thought he may have to move out to make room for one more Christmas tree. She loved all things Texas, especially traveling throughout the state with friends. She and Tim spent several years making trips down Port Aransas with their dogs Susie and Molly, to soak in the sun, the sand and surf, it was truly her happy place. She was an amazing and loving mother, friend, wife and daughter, who touched so many people's lives, to know her was to love her. But most of all, Donna will be remembered for her courage, gentle nature and her beautiful, sweet smile, all of which remained with her until the very end.
Donna is survived by her husband, Timothy Randolph of Denton, daughter, Ryann Reid and partner Jimmy Tritt of Denton, son, Luke Mohon and wife Lauren of Celina, Tx., stepdaughter, Jacklyn Platt and husband Ronnie of Denton, and grandchildren, Bryden, Aeson and Hayes Mohon, and Riley Platt. Sisters-in law Donna Loiselle and Robin Boydston and brother-law Wes Mohon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donnie and Patsy Carter and former in-laws Bill and Bobbie Nell Mohon.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
