Donna Clarece Taylor Richie, 63, of Sanger, TX passed away on Monday, September 29th, 2025, at 2:35am of a heart attack. Donna was born in Garland, TX on September 20th, 1963, to Mary Burton and Carl Taylor.

Donna graduated class of 1982 at North Garland High School and went on to pursue an Associate's Degree at Richland College. She worked as an Event Coordinator and Event Planner, first at University of Texas-Dallas and then at University of North Texas.

Donna was married to James Michael Richie at the time of her passing. She leaves behind her mother, Mary Burton, her brother, Mike Davis and his wife, Morgan Davis, a sister-in-law, Kim Taylor, cousins Randy Jones, Aubrey Jones, and David Brennan, many nieces and nephews, and her father Carl Taylor.

Donna was preceded by her grandparents, Syble and Herschel Bostick, and her brother Lonnie Taylor.

Donna loved to sing, craft gifts for loved ones, and cook gourmet meals. She also loved to read (a lot) and travel the world, with a special place in her heart for New Orleans.

The Memorial Service for Donna will be held on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, at 11:00am at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, Texas.
