Donnie Rhea Tidwell, 77, of Denton, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013. She was born on October 9, 1935 in Linden, Texas to E.H. Burson and Ora Dell Naron Burson. She married Walter Tidwell on January 27, 1951 in Queen City, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6:30-8:00 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wards Creek Cemetery in Simms, Texas.

Donnie is survived by her 2 daughters, Wanda Fuentez and Georgette Jordan; sister, Retha Adcock; brother-in-law, Hershel Tidwell; grandchildren, Noel Bowen, Brandy Fuentez, Michiel Fuentez, Sarah McDonald, Aaron Yates, Ernie Jordan, Cherissa Jordan-Patterson, Joshua Jordan, and Sabrina; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 son-in-laws, Rick Fuentez and Carl Jordan. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
