Dora Consuelo Coronado Vallejo, 71, of Denton passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 7, 1943 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Segundo Baltazar Vallejo and Maria Manuela Gavilanes. She married Jorge Everardo Coronado in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She received her degree as Social Worker from Vicente Rocafuerte University in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many capacities as Primary President, President of Young Women Organization and President of the Relief Society Organization. She was a dietary aide at Denton Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Director Funeral services will be Friday, September 26, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3000 Old North Road, Denton. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jorge G. Coronado, Xavier B. Coronado, Michael Perdue, Michael G. Perdue, Benjamin Perdue, Edgar X. Coronado and Jacob X. Coronado.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge of Denton; daughters, Clara Patricia Coronado and Miriam Leonor Perdue, both of Krum; sons, Jorge Gonzalo Coronado of Ecuador and Xavier Baltazar Coronado of Denton; sisters, Ninfa Villacres, Graciela Elao and Rafaela Machado, all of Ecuador.
