Doris L. Snider, 94, of Denton passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Denton. She was born December 30, 1919 in Hardy, Montague County, Texas to Ivan Fairchild and Nora Lesley Fairchild. She married Kenneth Paul Snider on September 10, 1942 in Gainesville. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Pearl Street Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bart Sirman, Chuck Edwards, Chris Edwards, Tyler Sirman, Seth Sirman, Slate Souther and Alex Sipes.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Sirman and husband L.D.; son, Joe Snider and wife, Cindy; step-son, Don Snider and wife Juanita; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Paul Snider, daughter, Paula Snider Edwards, 9 brothers and sisters.
