Dorles Ann McCormack, 94, of Denton, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Denton.
She was born in Denton to Ernest and Ladell (Williams) Manry on January 30, 1931.
She is most remembered by her friends and family as a wonderful homemaker, and Mother. She completed her education in Denton and graduated from Denton Demonstration School.
Her greatest talents were flower gardening, and hobbies included art of many forms. She had a natural talent for oil painting and pencil work. Most of her paintings and other artworks are held and cherished by her family. She also was excellent in cross stich work. Much of her work is framed and hangs in her home today, as well as preserved for her family to remember her by in her passing.
She was loved incredibly, and lived a long, happy and grateful life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Dorles is survived by her son, Bill Anderson, and his wife, Daphne of Pilot Point, Texas, her sister, Marcia Erwin of Alba, Texas, Patsy Sallee of Valley View, Texas and Timothy McCormack of Denton. Dorles's surviving family includes 19 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James McCormack, daughters, Edena Irwin, Denice Matlock, sister, Bobbie Schrock and her brother, Ernest Manry, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
