Dorothy Jo (Mason) Bivins, 89, of Greenbrier, Arkansas (formerly of Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was born on March 14, 1931 in Denton, Texas to Joe Thomas Mason and Dorothy Louise (Kemp) Mason. She married her husband of sixty-six years, the late Cecil Loren Bivins, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dorothy attended Drau Business School in Fort Worth. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom Lake and a member of the Graford Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a devoted homemaker and was actively involved in her daughters' schools. She served as room mother, field trip sponsor, and 4-H leader. Dorothy was a renowned baker and supporter of local charities. She later became a Certified Medication Aide at Palo Pinto Nursing Center in Mineral Wells.
Dorothy is survived by daughter, Lori Craig, of Vilonia, Arkansas; daughter, Anna Cooper, and husband, Brandon, also of Vilonia; and granddaughter, Bethany Craig, of Conway, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Cooper Creek Cemetery in Denton, Texas.
