Dorothy "Dottie" Dean Skidmore, 81, of Roanoke passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Keller. She was born October 8, 1930 in Abernathy, TX to Roy Lee McBride and Mary LeeAnna Cantrell.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Elizabeth Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Jack L. Skidmore and wife Celeste of Cottondale and Gene Skidmore and wife Thelma of Hurst; 9 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, H.E. (Jack) Skidmore, parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
