Dorothy Frances "Dottie" Lee was born April 5, 1929, in Gainesville, Georgia and passed away on June 18, 2023, in Gainesville, Texas at the age of 94.

She was married to Ralph Morris and had two sons, Ronald and Bobby Morris.   She was later married to Billy Ray Lee and had another son, Wesley Lee.  She eventually became a single mom and raised all three boys by herself working two and sometimes three jobs to be sure her boys were taken care of.  She was a very special lady and her boys were her proudest achievement.  She loved her family and friends fiercely and will be dearly missed.

She worked many years in Dallas, Texas in the bar and restaurant business.  During that time, she met a lot of colorful characters.  She shared many funny stories with her family and friends over the years and always enjoyed a good time.

She loved to travel, so after the boys were grown and raising families of their own, she went to Hawaii and enjoyed several cruises.

She also loved the Dallas Mavericks and rarely missed watching a game.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Morris and Wesley Lee, five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Morris and two sisters, Virginia Monroe and Edith Boss.

A memorial service will be held on July 15, 2023, at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, TX at 2:00 PM.
