Dorothy Mae Schluter, 88 of Krum passed away on May 23, 2024 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Wood County, Texas, to father W. D. Lindsay and mother Leona Sanders.

Dorothy was full of life and everyone loved her. She was thoughtful and caring and would take in anyone that needed a home. Lots of friends called her mom also. She worked on the farm for many years, then she worked at Denton State School where she retired from.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Koiner of Krum, Texas, Robin Kern of Krum, Texas, grand children Michael Koiner, Kaylee Kern, John Burke, Donna Burke and Charlie Akins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Pope, great grandchild Logan Koiner and her mother and father.
