Dwight Eugene Pugh, 54 of Denton passed away on November 10, 2016 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Deland, Florida on September 11, 1962 to Carlton Sr. and Sarah (Galloway) Pugh. He was raised in Pierson, Florida a place he was very fond of that a held a special place in his heart.

Dwight attended DeVry Institute of Irving Texas and later became an entrepreneur. After moving to Texas, he established his own business Pugh's Greenery, his most recent business was HP Pressure Washing.

As friends and family, we know, Dwight had a passion for living life to the fullest and showering his family with joy, love and compassion, he always talked about his children and grandchildren they were his world and he loved them so much, he would move the world for them if he could. He loved his mother dearly and admired her. He had a great sense of humor and had the ability to literally make you laugh until you cried. He loved to dance and if you knew him, you knew he could. His favorite place to be was in the woods exploring and enjoying nature. One of those wood spots that he enjoyed with his brother Leonard and Sister Gwen was 9 mile point they loved to hunt and fish together. He and Hanibal (his dog) loved hanging out with his friend Doug on his ranch in Oklahoma.

He was always giving a part of himself to those less fortunate. Ready to come to their aide on a moment's notice. His dedication and love towards animals was also a big part of his life. He always loved learning new things and sharing his knowledge with others. One thing that he was in the midst of learning and was very excited about, was the bible. He was studying bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved what he was learning and he loved his teacher Darren. Dwight often spoke of the Angel Gabriel who stood for strength and power.

Dwight's belief is that he is now sleeping waiting on Jesus call to awaken him in the resurrection (John 5:28,29) and he believes like Job that he will live again (Job 14:13-15). The family is at peace knowing this.

We love him dearly and he will truly be missed. No one can take his place in our lives.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carlton Pugh Sr., sister Phyllis Myers,  Niece Chelsea Davis, uncle Joshua Williams and grandmother Gertrude Williams.

A memorial service will be held at Deberry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Tuesday November 15 ^th at 3:00pm.

In the near future, a gathering for Dwight will be held in Florida.
