Duane Olson, of Oak Point, TX, passed away on Wednesday March 13,2024. Duane was born in 1934 in Detroit, MI and moved to Texas in 1980. He was a graduate of Michigan State University and had a career as an electrical engineer. Duane lived in Oak Point since 1998 and served 3 terms as mayor. In 1954, he married Joel Catherine Robinson. She survives as do 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club, 1399 Yacht Club Road, Oak Point, Texas, on Friday March 22nd from 4-6PM.
