Obituary
Eddie Gilmer passed away on March 17, 2013, funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Sanger, TX. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15186, Austin, Texas 78761-5186.
Eddie was born on January 8, 1929 in Prosper, TX. Eddie owned and loved his business of 52 years, the G and G Tractor Company, located in Denton, TX. Eddie was a member of the Pitch and Hitch Camping Club for over 40 years, which provided him with lifelong, cherished friendships.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gilmer. He is survived by his daughters Debbie Huber and Laura Vinson and his son, David Gilmer, eight grandchildren and brother, Doyce Gilmer. He is also survived by his companion and best friend, Rebekah Fleck and her children.
