Edgardo Ryan Wilson, 39, of Denton passed away on January 1, 2023 in Denton. He was born in Amarillo, Texas to Edgardo Jose and Rochelle (Bates) Wilson on March 10, 1983.

Eddie loved to fish, ride bikes of all kinds, play guitar, video games, animals and spending time with his family.  He was a thrill seeker and always ready for the next adventure.  He was happiest outside enjoying life and making his girls smile.  He could speak to plants and always had a lush garden.

He is survived by his long time partner, Kimberley Cox, and children Tierney and Lillian; father, Edgardo Jose Wilson, his grandmother, Kathleen Bates, uncles, Mike Bates and wife Stacy, and David Bates and wife Leslie, cousins, Courtney, Noah, and Tannyr.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Rochelle Chambers, and grandpa James E. Bates.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Saturday, December 7, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, TX. Burial will be January 25, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
