Edward James Eastwood, 81, of Haslet, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. He was born on April 26, 1932 in Ponder, Texas to Eugene "Buck" Eastwood and Beaulah Deussen Eastwood. In 1953, he married Bobbie Lavern Coffman, who preceded him in death on August 16, 1977. He married Sally Reno-Reneau in Roanoke on June 19, 1978. He served his country and retired as a Major in the United States Army Texas National Guard. He was a graduate of Haslet High School, TCJC, and UNT, was a member of the Boyd Masonic Lodge #479, and was a Sheet and Metal Manufacture Manager for Bell Helicopter.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 6-9 pm at the First Baptist Church in Justin. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Justin with Rev. Keith Murray and Rev. Leo Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Eakins Cemetery in Ponder.

Edward is survived by his wife, Sally; daughters, Jana Eastwood Kurosky, Judy Eastwood Cannon, and Shelly Rogers; sons, Randy Meredith, Michael Eastwood, and Terry Eastwood; brothers, Don Eastwood and Gene Eastwood; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
