Edward Lee Hollahan III, 72, of Corinth, passed away Tuesday October 23, 2018. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on March 21, 1946 to Edward Lee Hollahan and Mary Louise Hollahan.
He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. He was from the class of '68. In 1969 he married his wife, Lynne, and later had 2 children. He retired from Exxon-Mobil after 25 years and loved traveling and cruising to places like Alaska, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal. He spent his retirement years volunteering with The Red Cross and Our Daily Bread. He was a loving husband, the BEST dad anyone could ask for, and a wonderful Bopa to his 5 grandchildren.
He enjoyed online shopping (Amazon, HSN, QVC), ham radio, watch collecting, and keeping up with new technology.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lynne of Corinth, Texas and his son Chris Hollahan of Leonard, Texas and his daughter Vicky Helmlinger of Corinth, Texas and his other brother Richard Hollahan of Santa Fe, Texas and grandchildren: Sarah, Garrett, Shelby, Nolan, and Erin.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Hollahan, mother Mary Louise Hollahan and brother Sam Hollahan.
A special thank you to Archway Home Health nurses Christina and Edna, who provided him with invaluable care when he needed it.
An informal, come and go, visitation and sharing of memories will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home, Saturday October 27 th from 4:00-5:30 P.M.
