Edward (Ed) Franklin Reynolds, 77, of Tioga, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2014.

Ed was born in Henrietta, TX on March 12, 1937 to Fred and Ruby Gill Reynolds. Following graduation from Tioga High School he joined the United States Marine Corp. After he completed his enlistment, he joined the Denton Police Force and retired as Captain in 1982. After retiring he became a cattle rancher in Tioga, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Wallace Reynolds and his sons, Robert (Robby) Reynolds, Christopher (Chris) Allen Reynolds, Benny Joe Reynolds, Ed Wallace Reynolds; grandchildren Ryan Heath Reynolds, Cole Edward Reynolds, and Sydney Marie Reynolds; sisters, Susie White, Freda Baker and Julia Smith; brother, Benny Charles Reynolds. He is preceded in death by his father and mother and son, Eddie Dewayne Reynolds.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2014, at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, TX from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be Friday, September 19, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle, TX.
