Edwin Malcolm Shepard III passed away in Denton, Texas on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born in San Marcos, Texas on September 29, 1946 to Edwin and Pura Shepard. Edwin enjoyed being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather more than anything. He was the most giving and loving son, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather. His family will miss him beyond belief. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Martha Louise Shepard Nix.

A graveside service will be held at Milford Cemetery in Milford, Texas at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 8, 2022.

Edwin is survived by his brother Walter Shepard, Walter's wife Lori, and neices Lisa Graham and Krista Foley, as well as his two children Paul Shepard and Lori Shepard Berkhimer. He is also survived by daughter-in-law Leah Shepard and son-in-law Eric Berkhimer. He is survived by his grandchildren Julie Veselinovic and husband Marijan, Lynnette Tortorich and husband Mark, Elyse Berkhimer, Scott Berkhimer, Zach Shepard, Zoe Shepard, and Hayley Shepard. He is survived by his great-grandchildren Nicholas Tortorich, Ed Veselinovic, and Sara Veselinovic.
