Eleanor Olalo Malasaga 63 of Denton passed away October 9, 2021, at Medical City Denton. She was born in Manongol, Kidapawan, Philippines to Felip Olalo and Victoria Pinacate Olalo.

She married Edgar Perez Malasaga in Manila, Philippines on October 24, 1991. She was a Caretaker at the Denton State Supported Living Center for 19 years. Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family and seeing her friends.

Eleanor is survived by her two children, Elinor Maybeline and Edgar Philip of Denton; five siblings, Merligin Hunter, Reymel Olalo, and Myra Guab of Denton, Mary Vick Aguinaldo of the Philippines, and Fe Gariando of New Zealand.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Deacon Barry Sweeden will officiate.
