Obituary
Elmer Elston Cox, 92, of Hickory Creek passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Denton. Elmer was born on October 19, 1921 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Luther and Elizabeth Cox. Elmer married Margaret Stacy Self on December 20, 1941.
There will be a graveside held at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 13.
Elmer is survived by his wife, Margaret Cox; daughter, Linda D. Porter; son, Mike Cox; Sister, Wilma Cox; grandson, Christopher Fielding Porter; and great granddaughter, Nora June Porter. Elmer is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Elizabeth Cox; brothers, Boyd, Ben, and Bill Cox.
