Elsa Faye Sims Davis, 86, of Denton passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Denton. She was born June 9, 1928 in Cash, AR to Elijah Miller and Vella Mae Foster Blansett. She married Kenith Douglas Sims on November 30, 1946 in the Shoe Department of the local department store in Lepanto, AR. He preceded her in death. She later married Hillman A. Davis in Denton. He preceded her in death. Elsa Faye was a member of First Baptist Church and a former Vice President of Loan Operations for USBank (University State Bank), where she was affectionately known "Grannie".

Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Cliff Feeler officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Elsa Faye is survived by her daughters, Kay Pickens of Denton, Gayle Hatfield of Argyle; son, Gary Len Sims, Sr. of Aurora, CO., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and sister, Vera Russell of Mark Tree, AR. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and great grandson, Damien Rieve Wilkerson.
