On Thursday, June 3, 2021, Emilio Galicia, Jr. passed away at his home in Krum, Texas. He was 77. He was born in Wharton, Texas to Emilio and Juanita Galicia on April 12, 1944. Emilio served in the U.S. Army Calvary Division. He later worked as a machinist at NTP Plastic in Sanger for 25 yrs.

He is preceded in death by his parents Emilio Galicia, Sr. and Joe and Junita Salazar; sister Beatrice "Bea" Galicia Lovell; granddaughter Lauren Ashley Cross.

Emilio is survived by his wife of 56 years, Guadalupe Robles Galicia; his sons, Joe Galicia & wife Kathleen of Krum, Emilio Daniel Galicia of Krum, Micheal Galicia & wife Cindy of Denton; his daughters, Kathy Galicia Vargas & husband Gilbert of Tioga, Christine Galicia Gomez & husband Roy of Tioga; sister Ginny Galicia Dena of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 6, 2021 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 1PM to 3PM. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2021 at Christian Center Assembly of God Church in Krum with interment following at Jackson Cemetery.
