Our beloved wife and mother, Emma Faye Castleberry, 77 of Lake Dallas, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at home with her family by her side.  She was born December 7, 1946 in McKinney, Texas to James (Jim) Henderson and Mary Belle (Corder) Henderson.  She graduated from McKinney High School in 1965.

She married the love of her life, Jim Castleberry, on January 9, 1966.

She was a home maker and ran a family Daycare. She enjoyed travel, spending time with her family and friends, and a love for Elvis. Her passion for decorating for the holidays with a true love for Easter and Christmas always made for spectacular family events. She was truly one of a kind.

Emma is survived by her husband Jim of Lake Dallas, Children, Rhonda Castleberry and husband Robert, Sandy Asikis and husband John, Jimmy Castleberry, Jr., and Julie Castleberry. Sisters, LaDonna Baker and Jimmie Lynn Stevens

Grandchildren, Dylan Asikis, Lauren Asikis, Kiefer Sterzing, Colt Sterzing, and Lyla Castleberry. Step grandchildren, Chris Asikis, Katy DeLange, and Jonathan Asikis

She was proceeded in death by her parents, James (Jim) Henderson and Mary Belle Henderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, TX on

April 6, 2024 at 11am.
