Obituary

Grammer, Eric Frances Brandon was born December 7, 1927 in Prosper, Texas and passed away July 3, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her loving husband Billy B. Grammer, son Gary Grammer, parents Eric and Ella Brandon, brother W.B. (Dub) Brandon and wife Barbara, sister Louise Brandon King and her husband Robert King.

Frances graduated from Prosper High School in 1945 and graduated from Rutherford College of Buisness in Dallas, Texas June 1948. She married Billy B. Grammer of Whitewright, Texas June 30, 1951. They lived in Dallas, Texas until 1960 moving to Lake Dallas, Texas back to a small town to match their earlier years.

Frances taught Sunday school at the Lake Dallas Methodist Church and first grade for several years. Frances was elected to the Lake Dallas School Board where she served as board member as Board Secretary several years as well as elected to President of the board all over a period of 14 years while serving under four different superintendents; Mr. Allen, Mr. Banks, Mr. Mahan, and Mr. Bob Jameson. She also served as chairman and later as secretary of the Lake Dallas P & Z board as well as secretary of the Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority for several years.

Frances and her late husband were an avid outdoor sports family boat racing, skiing, hunting, fishing and were members of the Texas Outboard Racing Club for many years with Frances serving as Secretary of the club. She was appointed a Commissioner of Region 15 ( 5 States) of the American Outboard Racing Association for four years.

Frances served as Secretary of the Singletree Gun Club of Lewisville, Texas where she was an active member for many years shooting skeet and trap beating some of the new on weekends.

Frances worked for Campbell Henderson and Company (Finance Advisers) in Dallas, Texas. She worked as secretary to the President Mr. Charles V. Campbell until his death then secretary to his son Charles Vance Campbell Jr. who became President, until she retired after 54 years.

Frances is survived by daughter Amy Baine and husband Chip Baine, grandsons Michael Grammer and Billy Baine; fiancé Erica Khoandoni, Granddaughters Alisha Fowler and daughter Katy Fowler, Erika Graves and husband Mark Graves, Great Granddaughter's Brynlie Graves, and Brystol Graves, and several nieces nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and A lot of dear friends who will miss her deeply.

In lieu of fowlers donations may be made to the Lake Cities United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.

The family will be at DeBerry funeral Directors on Monday from 6 to 8 pm for visitation. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., Lake Cities United Methodist Church with Rev. John Peel officiating. Burial will follow at Swisher cemetery.
