Eric Raymond Kelly, 48, of Sanger went home to be with the Lord Tuesday September 11, 2012. Eric was born January 17, 1964 in Huntington Park, CA to Sandra Smith and Dennis Kelly. He attended Azle High School then joined the military as a Specialist, a member of 1st Calvary, in the Army National Guard for 15 years. During his Army service he was deployed to Kuwait & Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He later joined the Texas Air National Guard, member of 136th Airlift Wing Ft. Worth, as Senior Airman for two years.

Eric married Shelley Kersey-Bailey July 2, 2011. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. Eric will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was an avid motorcycle rider and attended The Bridge Church of Denton, Tx.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents Sandra & Jim Biller, Dennis Kelly; & grandfather, Brodie Newell.

Eric is survived by his loving wife Shelley; 5 children: Ryan Kelly 23 of Azle; Christopher Kelly 21 of Azle; Justin Kelly 18 of Sanger; Samantha Kelly 8 of Sanger; Skyler Kelly 9 months of Sanger. Sister's Belinda Mason (Sam) Tiffin, OH; Tina Brouse (Terry) Avon, OH; Jackie Bosier Tiffin, OH; Lonnie Shaffer (Alonzo) Collins, OH; Melody Orwick (John) Tiffin, OH. Brother Christopher Dennis Kelly, Grandmother Pat Newell, dedicated in-laws Mike & Sue Kersey, numerous relatives and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2012 at DeBerry Funeral Home, Denton. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 – 4:00 at the funeral home. Pastor Mike Glisson will officiate.
