Eric James "Bear" Manor passed away in Keller, Texas on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born in Los Angeles County, California to Eweul and Juanama Manor on February 16, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Larry Manor and Thomas Manor.

Eric was a retired English teacher and tennis coach, and served the majority of his educational career at South Grand Prairie High School. He taught and coached for over 20 years in several school districts in Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and Masters of Education in Teaching both from the University of Texas at Arlington.

A memorial service will be held at Center Point Church in North Richland Hills, Texas on September 23, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Eric is survived by his wife of 17 years, Rosemary; his son, Scott Manor and wife Susan, his daughter, Erin Johnson and husband Patrick; his grandchildren, Ryan, Blake, Alicia and Abigail, his four great-grandchildren and his sister, Vicki LaPlante.
