Ernesto "Ernie" Luis Gonzales of Denton was born February 23, 1964 in McAllen, Texas to Luis V. and Amelia Ventura Gonzales.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday from 5-7:00 P.M. for visitation.  A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.

Ernie is survived by his father, Luis V. Gonzales, wife, Maria Arriaga of Denton, daughter, Erica LeeAnn Martinez of Mission, sons, Ernesto R. Gonzales Jr. of McAllen, Samuel Bustos of Lubbock, sisters, Emma Linda Guerra of Prosper, Anna Anthony of Mesquite, Sandra Gonzales of Donna, Marcey Gonzales of Lubbock and 4 grandchildren.
