Ernie Pyle Lucas, 64, of Lake Dallas, Texas passed away on September 26, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Leonard, Texas to Tully B, Lucas, Jr., and Florence (Payne) Lucas.

Ernie was a loyal, dedicated and determined man.  He lived his whole life in Lake Dallas and was proud to work for almost 38 years at the Upper Trinity Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (formerly owned by Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority). He was dedicated to his immediate and extended family, and loved fishing, bowling, and playing darts.

He is survived by his wife, Louann and cousins, David & Margaret Delaney, Stephen Scofield, and Sean & Kristina Scofield.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father and stepson, Beau Sisemore.

A Rosary will be said on Saturday, October 3. 2020 at 9:30 AM at St. Marks Catholic Church in Argyle, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the Rosary at 10:30 at St. Marks. Interment will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas
