Ervie LouVenia Sprabary, 94, of Krum passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Denton Good Samaritan Village. She was born August 21, 1929, in Akins, Oklahoma to William Fredburn Mullen and Mattie Ellen Stewart Mullen.
LouVenia married J.D. Sprabary on December 23, 1944, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1990. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church and was active in all church activities. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed sewing, reading, and working in the yard. She was most happy at Church and with her Family. She had retired from Texas Woman's University.
The family will receive friends at Faith Tabernacle Church on Audra Ln. on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Faith Tabernacle with Pastors Randy Snow and Wilson Kirkland officiating. She will be laid to rest at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
LouVenia is survived by a daughter Gayle White and husband, Richard, of Decatur; sons, Danny and wife Phyllis Sprabary, Michael and wife Treva Sprabary, and daughter in love, Charlene Sprabary, all of Krum; Gary Sprabary of Denton. 14 grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great grandchildren whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 7 brothers, husband, and son, Phillip Sprabary.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Gabe Graham, Daryl Sprabary, Trenton Sprabary, Michael Todd Sprabary, Dustin Richards, Colton Richards, Cody Barzano, Morgan Barzano, and Justin Sprabary.
