IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ethan Connlee
Dunfee
November 24, 2003 – August 9, 2017
Ethan Connlee Dunfee was born November 24, 2003, to a loving family so blessed to be given such a special child. He was granted his angel wings at age 13 on August 9, 2017, his great-grandmother's 99th birthday. Although Ethan's time on Earth ended too abruptly, those who knew him understand that quality of life is more important than quantity.
His smile lit up the room and melted the hearts of those around him. Ethan had a great sense of humor and loved listening to music, going to school and playing with his siblings. We are thankful Ethan's sister and four brothers were able to know him and form memories of his sweet spirit.
Ethan is survived by his loving parents, Wesley and Allison High of Denton; Ryan and Holly Dunfee of Providence Village; sister, Makenzie Jane High; brothers Emerson High, Everett High, Milo Dunfee and Holden Dunfee; maternal grandparents Dee and Su Welch of Whitesboro; paternal grandparents Dan and Judy Dunfee of Aubrey, John and Gaye Wiles of Aubrey and John Michael High of Rockwall; and Aunt Katie High and cousin, AvaLynn High Parker.
Ethan also leaves behind many wonderful caregivers who provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Ethan's love extends to the amazing people he met at Strickland Middle School, Ginnings Elementary and Ann Windle School for Young Children. He was blessed with a host of fantastic therapists, all of whom worked their hardest to help Ethan reach his potential.
Ethan's passing reminds us that every day is precious. He will remain in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Ethan's life will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Home 2025 W. University Dr. Denton, Texas 76201.
