Ethel Boyd, 87, of Denton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Denton. She was born in Denton to Cort and Lillie Adams Stallings. Ethel attended Denton Public Schools and graduated from Denton High School.

She married Hammy Boyd in Gainesville, Texas. Ethel was a member of the Open Range Kingdom Church in Krum.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2:00 pm, March 12, 2024, at the Open Range Kingdom Church with Rev. Richie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Ethel is survived by a son, Bob Boyd and wife Deborah; daughter, Sherry Neu and husband Tim; grandchildren, Cody Boyd and wife Jennifer, Clayton Boyd and wife Sarah, Kelly Boyd and Justin Troth; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and granddaughter, Stormie Schott.
