Ethel Marie Farmer, 86, of Denton passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Ethel was born on May 22, 1927 in Lake Dallas to Tom and Myrtle Gamble. She married John Farmer in Lake Dallas on December 24, 1948, he preceded her in death in 1986.

There will be a graveside service held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.

Ethel is survived by her daughters, Joyce Hunter and Barbara Carney; sons, Jerry Farmer and Terry Farmer; brother, Gene Gamble; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
