Ethelene
Price
July 3, 1933 – September 24, 2018
Ethelene Price, 85, of Denton, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Dennison, Grayson County Texas on July 3, 1933 to Ralph Stogsdill and Mildred (Grundy) Sallier.
She loved to travel so much so that she held residence in places such as: Anchorage, Alaska, Sawyer AFB, Michigan, Aurora, Colorado, Galveston, Texas and last but not least Denton, Texas since 1983. My mom once told me that she had been to every state there was to see but there was one place she hadn't made it to yet and that was Australia. Over the past year I've come to find that everything on her travels were true, I hope to continue to learn of her ventures especially after us kids came along. She was a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to many and will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Gomez of Denton, Terry Redwine of Austin and Cheryl Linscomb of Carrollton, Texas, son, Barry Johnson of Denton, brothers, Curtis Stogsdill of Denton, Texas and Van Stogsdill of Soldotna, Alaska, grandchildren: Eric Lopez, Bianca Lopez, Amy Cadenhead, Trinitie Gomez, Josh Johnson, Kassie Duque, Barry Johnson Jr., Erika Johnson Flores, Stephanie Briseno, Nicole Cheng, Monica Pruett, Joseph Johnson, Denise O'Neal, Amanda Sowell, Olivia Sowell and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by; her husband, Andrew Douglas Price; her sons, Donald Ray Johnson and Robert Allen Johnson, her mother, Mildred Sallier and her father Ralph Stogsdill.
