Evanna Lea Hagler was born in Uvalde, Texas on September 27th, 1952 to parents Raymond Ralph Bounds and Mary Serena Bounds. She passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4th, 2024 in Carrollton, Texas with her sister Karen at her side. Evanna was a devout member of her church and spent her life rejoicing through music and poetry.

Evanna is survived by her daughter, Misty Sanchez, and husband Henry, of Denton, Texas, and her son, Jason Godi, and partner, Katy Parker, of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Bounds Roberts of Uvalde, Texas, and her grandchildren, Joseph Koestler, Nicholas Sanchez, Julian Godi, Ian Huckabee, and "adopted grandson" Nate Donald. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Jerry Godi, second husband, James Hagler, Sr., and brother, Damon Bounds.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church in Flower Mound, Texas. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas.
