Evelyn Florene Henry, 91, passed away at her home in Denton, Texas on October 31, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born in Shattuck, OK to Henry and Frieda (Koch) Swenn on June 16, 1934. Prior to retirement, Evelyn worked in accounting and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grand and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband Everett Henry, her parents and brother Jerry Swenn.

Evelyn is survived by son, Donnie Henry, three daughters, Anita Freese, Debra Blankenship, Denise Henry, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors at 11:00AM, Thursday, November 6, 2025. Evelyn will be buried at Chinn Chapel Cemetery in Copper Canyon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
