Evelyn Louise Price, 95, of Denton, Texas passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was born in Denton to John and Myrtle (Clement) Pitt on September 19, 1923.  She attended Double Oak, Center Point and Denton Schools.

Evelyn loved to cook, sew and play piano. She was a member of Old Alton Baptist Church and later Gateway United Baptist Church. She married Doyce D. Price and they had four children, Doyle, David, Shirley and Sarah.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Pitt, and her husband, Doyce D. Price. She is survived by her children, Doyle Price, David Price, Shirley Phillips and Sarah Roach and their families.

Graveside service will be held at Old Alton Cemetery in Denton, Texas on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.
