Evita was born on April 3, 1963, in Mexico. From early childhood she was deeply loved by her family and was known for her intelligence, joyful spirit, and natural ability to form lasting friendships. She was an outstanding student, consistently ranking among the top of her classes. She loved music, dancing, traveling, and connecting with people from different cultures—qualities that would later shape her life and calling.
She pursued higher education with dedication and graduated as a Chemical Engineer. She began her professional career demonstrating responsibility, discipline, and a strong commitment to excellence, earning the trust to carry out work of significant importance.
In the late 1980s, she experienced a profound spiritual transformation when she became a Christian. Guided by her faith and desire to serve, she persevered for years until receiving the visa that allowed her to study at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas. There she distinguished herself through humility, devotion, and a deep passion for sharing the message of the Gospel. During this season she collaborated in ministry with worship leader Marco Barrientos and also served in missionary work with Youth With A Mission (JUCUM), including service aboard a missionary ship.
While living in Mexico, she lovingly cared for her mother, Guillermina, and her brother Ángel. Even while living abroad, she remained closely connected to her family through her constant love, communication, and support. To know her was to experience warmth and joy; time spent with her was a gift.
Later in life she met Norvel, whom she married and with whom she shared more than 23 years of life, faith, and partnership. While residing in Texas, Evita served in the ministry of Benny Hinn, dedicating herself to the spiritual care of others. Together they founded the ministry Discipline the Nations and traveled to Israel to walk the biblical lands that were so meaningful to their faith.
The couple later moved to Krum, where they lived on a farm, fulfilling Norvel’s long-held dream—a dream Evita supported with love and devotion. During this chapter of her life, she began a new professional path with Rooms To Go, where she worked for more than eight years. She found great joy in meeting new people and helping them with kindness, patience, and sincere care.
Evita passed peacefully on February 21, 2026, in the United States. Her life was defined by unwavering faith, deep love for her family, steadfast perseverance, and a generous spirit that touched countless lives. She was known for her compassionate and pure heart, her sincere desire to bless others, and her constant readiness to serve anyone in need. Evita will be remembered for her warm smile, her servant’s heart, and the enduring love and kindness she shared so freely with all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband Norvel, her brother Ángel, and many relatives and friends who honor her memory with gratitude and love.
