Faith Whitfield, born on April 20, 1951, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, surrounded by friends and family who lovingly shared stories of her remarkable life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Samuel Eichen.
Faith is survived by her devoted life partner, Ricky D. Bryant; her sons Damien, Ricky Jr., and Wes; her daughter Sandra; and her sister Brenda. She was a cherished grandmother to Dalton, Emiliy, Serenity, Collin, Syiel, Johnathan, Makayla, and Rose, and a beloved great-grandmother to Rowdy, Billy, Amora, and Eve. Faith also leaves behind her daughters-in-law, Meghann Whitfield and Tina Bryant.
A proud Army veteran, Faith dedicated much of her life to supporting causes close to her heart, including disabled veterans, ASPCA, and the Holocaust Fund. She was a loving mother and grandmother to many, known for her warmth and generosity.
Faith had a zest for life, enjoying simple pleasures like pizza, books, diet coke, sci-fi movies, Olive Garden, and plain glazed donuts. She was an active member of the Elks Lodge and had a special fondness for cats, stuffed animals, and her cherished knick-knack collection.
In honoring Faith's wishes, we invite you to join us in celebrating the many joyful memories of her life, rather than mourning her passing. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Denton Humane Society and the Holocaust Fund .
