Fay N. Caviness 83 of Sanger passed away Friday, October 31st, 2025. She was born October 3rd, 1942 in Dallas to George and Gladys McGee. Fay married C. Wayne Caviness on June 15th, 1964, in Alexandria, VA and was a member of the Marsh Lane Baptist Church in Dallas.

The family will be at Roselawn Memorial Park Thursday afternoon from 3:00-3:300 for grounds service.

Fay is survived by her children Valeria Caviness, Lisa Lahti, and Shawn Caviness, grandchildren Ischelle Lahti, James Lahti II, Jennifer Wax, Justin Caviness, Jessica Caviness, great grandchildren Brian Hobgood, Amber Hobgood, Isaac Hobgood, Kinsley Hobgood, Brooklynn Wax, Chloe Lahti, sister Gloria Jerome, brother John McGee. Fay was proceeded in death by her parents George and Gladys McGee, husband C. Wayne Caviness, son Michael Wayne Caviness, and granddaughter Brandye Caviness.
