Frances Louise Strode Pursur, 90, of Denton, Texas passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 in Pilot Point, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 27, 1929 to Lester Owen and Alice (McMenany) Strode. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy H. Pursur, son Roy L. Pursur and grandson Rowdy Purser

She is survived by her son, David Pursur and wife Judy, daughter Debora Pursur David, grandchildren James McGar and wife Jana, Jayson David and wife Leanna, Jeremy David and wife Stacie, Jonathan David, Logan Pursur, Kim Pursur Cunningham and husband T.C., Lauren Pursur Butler and husband Daemon, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild

A public come and go viewing will be from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., Sunday, August 23, 2020 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 24, 2020 at First Denton. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
