Francis Paul DeVries went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2022, at the age of 80. He was born November 4 ^th 1941 in Clifton, Colorado to Ruby Fern and Francis John DeVries.

Paul graduated from Fruita High School in 1959 and married his high school sweetheart, June Ilene Denton. They have been together for 62 years. Paul became a pilot for the Atlantic Richfield "ARCO" company and enjoyed flying both professionally and as a hobby. After his retirement he continued his passion for flight with the opening of a hobby shop in Plano, Texas. Paul loved telling stories and enjoyed the company of his family.

Paul is survived by his wife June, children, Sandy DeVries, Pam DeVries Key and husband Doug Key, Jay DeVries and wife Mica DeVries; grandchildren, Tyler Rodriguez, Sarah DeVries, Jared DeVries, Jesse DeVries and wife Gracie DeVries. He also leaves behind his sisters, Becky Franken, Jane Patterson and Thelma Lahue.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 5-7:00 P.M. A graveside service will be the following day, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 beginning at 10:00 A.M at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. Mr. Jay DeVries will be officiating and acting as pallbearer along with Doug Key, Jesse DeVries, Jared DeVries, Tyler Rodriguez and Marty Denton.
