Francis Phillip Johnson, 90 of Argyle better known as F Phil Johnson, passed away August 14, 2015 at a Memory Care Home. He was born February 1, 1925 in Hammond, IN to William Urban Johnson and Georgianna Garver Johnson. Phil married Eva Fay Musgrove on October 14, 1944 in Eagle Pass, Texas. He served in the US Army Air Corp in World War II in the 65th Fighter Squadron. He was a retired Airline Pilot flying for Braniff and Ameristar.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.

The family has requested memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Dallas, 3001 Knox St., Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75205.

He is survived by his wife Eva Fay Johnson, daughter, Laurie Ann Vaughan of Anna, sons, Phillip Dean Johnson of Denton, David Urban Johnson of Keller, sister, Georgianne Batey of Indiana, brother, Melvin Johnson of Florida. Phil loved his 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
