CERRALVO, Frank J. age 86, passed on July 20th. Frank was born September 9, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Francisco Javier Cerralvo and Mary Ehrman Cerralvo.
Frank is survived by his son Matthew and his wife, Christy, his daughters Clarissa Corson, Jennifer Currey, and Rebecca Hudechek and her husband Brett, nine grandchildren: Chris and Scott Polcyn, Rachel and Ben Corson, Trey and Taylor Currey, Sidney and Emily Hudechek, Caroline Cerralvo, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Veronica Mae Monok, and son Douglas.
In Cleveland, Frank attended South High SchooI, Case Western Reserve University, and graduated from Cleveland State University. In 1962, he became a Certified Public Accountant. Frank, Veronica, and their four children relocated to the Dallas, Texas area in 1979. Frank's hobby, which he took up in 1969, was sailing, and he, Veronica, and children enjoyed many happy days sailing the island area of Western Lake Erie. In Texas, Frank and Veronica sailed on Lake Texoma, and later, Lewisville Lake, and were members of Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club – Frank loved to race sailboats. During his lifetime he was a good master to his animals, his children inherited that trait.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 12th at 3:00 PM with a reception to follow at the Pointe Auditorium on the CC Young Senior Living campus where Frank resided. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to the SPCA chapter of your choice.
