Franklin Lee Akin passed away in Bonham, Texas on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born in Sherman, Texas to Jack and Princess Akin on April 25, 1942. Frank enjoyed doing cowboy day work and fishing. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, sister, Naoma Sue Akin and brother, Donnie Ross Akin.

A graveside service will be held at 10AM, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Sadler Cemetery in Whitesboro.

Frank is survived by his sister, Janice Heard of Wichita Falls, Texas, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
