Heaven has a beautiful new angel. Fredda Sue Brockett entered the gates of Heaven on Monday July 29, 2013 in Denton, TX. She was a wonderful Mother, terrific mother-in-law and the greatest Nenaw to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a caring, loving and trustworthy friend to all that knew her. She will be missed beyond words.

Fredda Sue was born in Dallas, TX on November 19th, 1944 to Marvin and Leona Sitton. She attended schools in Denton, where she resided most of her life. Fredda Sue married Hugh Dow Brockett in Denton, TX on July 18th, 1960. To this union they had two sons, Randall and Martin Brockett. Fredda Sue worked for Moore Business Forms from the age of 18 until her retirement in 2004.

Fredda Sue is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Randall and Jana Brockett, Martin Brockett and Julie Howell. Her Grandchildren Kasie Ostrom, Brian Brockett and wife Karen, Christopher Douglas and wife Lisa, Jake Parker and girlfriend Jennifer, and Paige Parker and boyfriend Bryan, Kimber Howell and Giorgia Livingston and Husband David. Her Great-Grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jadyn, Lanah, Jaxon, Landyn, Rylea, Layla, Jorden and Lexi. Her Sister Pat Ostrom and husband George, Her Aunt Oleta Pryor, Sister-in-law Evelyn Brockett, Her BFF Linda Shurbet and her Loving Companion of 16 years Joe Dandridge. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Fredda Sue was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Dow Brockett and her parents Marvin and Leona Sitton.

Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2 pm. With Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
