Fredna Joe Tipps, 72, of Justin passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 in Denton. Fredna was born on March 28, 1942 to Jack and Mary Pearl Allen in Aubrey, Texas.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors for a visitation from 6-8 P.M. On Monday, April 21. The funeral service will be held at the Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God at 1 P.M. On Tuesday, April 22. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Cemetery in McKinney.

Fredna is survived by her son, Benny Hicks and wife Betsy daughters, Martha Hall, Mary Riley and husband Donald, Margaret McCoy and husband Charles; step daughter, Judy Hudson and husband Ricky; brothers, Charlie and Mark Allen; sister, Mary Miller; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Hicks and second husband, F.A. Tipps; parents, Jack and Mary Pearl Allen.
