Obituary
Fredrick Ray "Boomer" Dawson, 60 of Decatur passed away Saturday April 9, 2016 in Denton. He was born in Denton at Flow Memorial Hospital to Dennis and Patricia Upchurch Dawson. He was a mechanic and truck driver.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 15th @ 4:00 p.m. at Slidell Baptist Church in Slidell, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Dawson of Decatur, mother, Patricia Davis of Decatur, 4 daughters, Jennifer Hodges of Carrollton, Tiffany Dawson of Ponder, Tabitha Wright of Moore OK, Kayla Dawson of Humble TX, 2 sisters, Tana Dempsey of Decatur, Teresa Ellison of Decatur, 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and was loved by many more.
