Gailya Nan Riley, 78, of Decatur, passed away on March 8, 2013. She was born on August 30, 1934 in Slidell, Texas to Homer Bedford Winstead and Connie Amyx Winstead. She married John Riley on June 4, 1955 in Denton and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. She was a retired Teacher Administrator in the Hurst Euless Bedford ISD. She was very involved with her family and her grand kids.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 2-4 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 11, 2013 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Bedford Winstead officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum.

Gailya is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Brenda Everett; sons, Steve, Scott, and Mark Riley; brother, Bedford Winstead; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents.
