Gary Don Bowman, 62, of Denton, formerly of Tyler, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012. He was born on October 22, 1949 in Jacksonville, TX to Edward Webster Bowman and Ruby Estelle Jackson. He married Donna Bowman in Tyler in 1993.

Gary is survived by his daughters, Sherea Bowman, Kristie Bonnell, and Toni Brown; son, Darrell Bowman; sister, Debbie Bowman; brothers, Butch Bowman and Kenneth Bowman; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Chelbie, Bryan, Allison, and Evorie; and 2 great-grandchildren, Zoey and Layla. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his parents; and sister, Ann Bowman.
Gary was an active volunteer for his grandson's Special Olympics team. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Special Olympics.
